Xiaomi Poco C65 Review: A Budget-Friendly Device with Impressive Features

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly smartphone that still offers impressive features, the Xiaomi Poco C65 is worth considering. This new device from the Poco “C” line comes with a price tag of just $129 for the 6/128GB model and $149 for the 8/256GB model (early bird prices are $109/$129).

The Poco C65 shares many similarities with its predecessor, the Poco C55, including a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 5000 mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera. However, the C65 does come with some notable improvements.

One of the most significant upgrades is the display. The C65 features a 6.74-inch display that can now refresh at 90Hz, a first for the Poco “C” line of phones. Additionally, the device supports 18W PD charging, a notable improvement over the 10W charging of the C55.

In terms of camera features, the Poco C65 introduces a new 2MP dedicated macro camera on the back, replacing the depth sensor of the C55. The selfie camera has also been upgraded to an 8MP module.

Despite its budget-friendly price, the Poco C65 doesn’t skimp on the retail package. The phone ships in a sturdy cardboard box and comes with a USB Type-A to Type-C cable and a 10W wall charger.

Overall, the Xiaomi Poco C65 offers impressive features at an affordable price point. With its upgraded display, enhanced camera capabilities, and budget-friendly price, it’s a compelling option for those looking for a Xiaomi experience on a budget.
