Honor Unveils New Honor 100 and 100 Pro Phones

Six months after the release of the 90 series, Honor has announced the arrival of the new Honor 100 and 100 Pro phones. These new models come with improved cameras, better chipsets, and faster charging capabilities. Although they are currently available for pre-order in China, the release date for the rest of the world has not been confirmed yet.

The Honor 100 Pro boasts two high-quality cameras, including a 50MP Sony IMX906 on the back and a 50MP IMX816 on the front, both capable of recording 4K videos. The phone also features OIS for stabilized images. The model is equipped with a 32MP 2.5x telephoto camera with OIS and up to 50x digital zoom and a 112° ultra-wide module. Additionally, it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and includes a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 66W fast wireless charging.

On the other hand, the vanilla Honor 100 is powered by the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and features a 6.7” 120Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging.

The Honor 100 Pro starts at CNY 3,400 for the 12/256GB model, while the Honor 100 is priced at CNY 2,500 for the same 12/256GB configuration in China. However, the global prices are yet to be confirmed.

The company has not disclosed the global pricing for the Honor 100 and 100 Pro. The previous models, Honor 90 and 90 Pro, were launched in China at CNY 2,500 and CNY 3,300 respectively. When they reached Europe, the Honor 90 was priced at €550.

As for the new models, the Honor 100 is expected to be in line with the pricing of the Honor 90. However, the global release of the Honor 100 Pro remains uncertain. The company has conducted a survey to gauge customer interest in the new models and potential pricing. Customers are encouraged to participate in the survey to express their interest in the Honor 100 and 100 Pro.
