Samsung has teamed up with Maison Margiela for a new collaboration, this time to create a custom-made Galaxy Z Flip5 smartphone. The pre-orders and registrations for this special edition phone are now available in China.
The design of the phone has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be unveiled on November 30 once the registrations are complete. Leaked images suggest that the back panel will feature a colorful design, a departure from the black and white look of the previous Galaxy Z Flip4. Additionally, the phone is likely to come with a custom-made leather case and a unique theme for the cover display.
On the inside, the phone will remain the same, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display, and a 12-megapixel dual camera on the outside. Based on the price of last year’s edition, the Z Flip5 Maison Margiela is expected to cost over $1,500 and could reach $1,700, depending on exchange rates.
The partnership between Samsung and Maison Margiela is not new, as the two companies have previously worked together on other projects. This collaboration aims to bring together technology and fashion, offering consumers a unique and stylish smartphone option.
The pre-orders and registrations for the Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela edition can be made through the Samsung website in China. This special edition phone is expected to attract fashion-forward consumers who are looking for a blend of high-tech features and luxurious design.
