Unveiling the Powerhouse: Poco M6 with Dimensity 6100+ and 8GB RAM now available in India!

The Poco M6 5G was officially launched in India today. This new smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC and comes with 4/6/8GB of RAM, with support for an additional 8GB through RAM expansion. The device features a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 600-nit peak brightness. It also has Gorilla Glass protection, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, microSD expansion support, dual-SIM functionality, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

In terms of the camera, the Poco M6 boasts a 50 MP main rear camera, is dust and splash resistant, and runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.

The prices for the Poco M6 in India range from INR 10,499 for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, INR 11,499 for the 6/128GB version, and INR 13,499 for the top spec 8/256GB iteration. However, with a bank offer, the M6 can be purchased for just INR 9,499, making it the most affordable 5G-capable smartphone ever to be available in India.

Interestingly, the Poco M6 has raised some eyebrows as it seems to be a rebrand of the Redmi 13C 5G, which was released last week. Although there are some design differences, the specifications appear to be identical to the Redmi 13C 5G.

The first sale for the Poco M6 is set to take place on December 26, and it will be offered in Galactic Black and Orion Blue colors. With its impressive features and competitive pricing, the Poco M6 is expected to make waves in the Indian smartphone market.
