OnePlus set to launch OnePlus 12R with impressive specs

OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 12R, a toned-down version of its flagship OnePlus 12. The new leak reveals that the OnePlus 12R will share many specifications with the OnePlus 11, including its display. The device is expected to make its debut as the OnePlus Ace 3 in China and is tipped to be launched in December.

The alleged specs of the OnePlus 12R were shared by reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav on X. According to the leak, the OnePlus 12R will likely sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, coupled with Adreno 740 GPU and faster LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage options. The device is also rumored to feature a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support and come with Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 out of the box.

In terms of camera specifications, the OnePlus 12R is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 32MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, NFC, and an alert slider.

The alleged specs also align with earlier leaks, further confirming the details shared by another tipster, Digital Chat Station. The global launch of the OnePlus 12R is expected to take place alongside the OnePlus 12 in January 2024. However, the Chinese variant, the OnePlus Ace 3, is tipped to be unveiled in China on December 17, 2023.

The design of the OnePlus 12R is said to resemble the OnePlus 11, featuring a giant camera module at the back. However, it will not carry the Hasselblad branding, which is exclusive to flagship phones from OnePlus.

The launch of the OnePlus 12R is highly anticipated, especially given the impressive specs it is rumored to feature. Fans of OnePlus can look forward to the official announcement and release of the OnePlus 12R in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new addition to the OnePlus lineup.
