Samsung’s One UI 6.1 Update to Include Battery Protection Feature and AI Wallpaper Customization
Recent leaks from tipster Tarun Vats have revealed potential new features in Samsung’s upcoming One UI 6.1 update. According to the leaked information, the update will include a renamed battery health-focused feature, now called “Battery Protection,” with additional options such as “Basic,” “Adapt,” and “Max.”
The “Basic” setting will stop charging at 100% and resume at 95%, while the “Adapt” mode will adjust charging based on the user’s daily schedule, and the “Max” mode will limit charging to 80% capacity. These options aim to give users more control over their device’s charging behavior, promoting longer battery life.
In addition to the battery protection feature, the leak also suggests that One UI 6.1 will introduce enhanced customization options for wallpapers, with potential integration of AI technology for a more personalized experience.
While these leaks have sparked excitement among Samsung users, the company has not made any official announcements regarding the release date of the One UI 6.1 update. However, Vats speculates that the update could roll out as early as January.
In the meantime, Samsung’s current One UI 6 (Android 14) update has already brought several new features to its Galaxy devices, including a redefined Quick Panel, new emojis, and lock screen customization. The upcoming release of the Good Lock 6 update is also expected to further enhance the user experience.
As Samsung continues to innovate and improve its software offerings, users can look forward to a more personalized and efficient smartphone experience with the upcoming One UI 6.1 update.
