Samsung is prepping for the launch of its new Galaxy S24 lineup. The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are rumored to be unveiled on January 17, 2024. Recently, CAD-based renders of the phones leaked, giving us a glimpse of their design. Now, new official-looking images from Windows Report have corroborated the design, showing a flat design for the new models.

According to Windows Report, the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra will come in four different colors: black, gray, violet, and yellow. However, they will have different marketing names. The S24 and S24+ will be available in Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow. On the other hand, the S24 Ultra will have Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow, which suggests that the S24 Ultra will have a Titanium frame, while the other models will have an aluminium armor frame.

The new Galaxy S24 series will also focus on AI technology, with features like real-time translation of messaging apps in multiple languages and enhanced photo editing using generative AI techniques. Additionally, the AI capabilities will offer improved search capabilities, such as highlighting items in an image to find more information about them.

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus’ vapor chambers will be significantly larger than their predecessors, while the S24 Ultra’s vapor chamber will be 1.9 times bigger than the S23 Ultra’s, aiming to improve cooling and sustained performance.

The specs for the Galaxy S24 trio have also been revealed. The S24 will have a 6.2″ FullHD+ 120Hz screen, the S24+ will feature a 6.7″ QHD+ 120Hz, and the S24 Ultra will sport a 6.8″ QHD+ 120Hz display. The S24 will be equipped with an Exynos 2400 SoC, while the S24+ and S24 Ultra will both come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The cameras for each model range from 50MP primary to 200MP primary, depending on the model. The RAM and internal storage options also vary across the lineup.
