Redmi Unveils New Smart Wearables and Devices
Redmi, a Chinese smartphone company, launched its new Redmi K70 series smartphones and two smart wearables in a big event in China. The new products include the Redmi Watch 4 and Redmi Buds 5 Pro wireless earbuds.
The Redmi Watch 4 has a 1.96-inch AMOLED screen with a 390 x 450px resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also features an aluminum alloy casing and is 5ATM waterproof. The watch comes with Xiaomi’s HyperOS software and offers health tracking features such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, and stress tracking. With a 470 mAh battery, the watch can last up to 10 days with the Always-On display and all health tracking features enabled, or up to 20 days with lighter usage. The Redmi Watch 4 is priced at CNY 500 ($70) in China.
On the other hand, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro wireless earbuds come with a traditional in-ear design and offer Hi-Res audio streaming with LHDC 5.0 support. The buds also have active noise cancellation that can drown out up to 52dB. They pair over Bluetooth 5.3 and have a combined battery life of 38 hours. The Redmi Buds 5 Pro come in black, white, blue, and black/orange colors and are also priced at CNY 500 ($70) in China.
