Unlock the latest features with the new OxygenOS update from OnePlus Open – No Android 14 in sight
OnePlus Open Receives December Software Update
OnePlus Open smartphone users will soon receive the December software update (OxygenOS 13.2), which includes the November 2023 security patch. This update aims to improve the system and fix some bugs that users have been experiencing.
One of the key fixes in this update is the correction of an odd blank screen bug that has been plaguing the foldable phone whenever users view images. Additionally, when in Photo mode, users can now set a specific exposure level for the OnePlus Open’s camera, giving them more control over their photography.
The update also aims to improve the stability and expand the compatibility of Bluetooth connections, the stability of network connections, as well as the overall system stability and performance.
While this update is welcome news for OnePlus Open users, there is still no word on when OxygenOS 14 (Android 14) will arrive for the device. This has left some users wondering when they will be able to experience the new additions and features that come with the latest major OS skin.
The OnePlus Open is the company’s first foray into the world of foldable smartphones, featuring a 7.8-inch internal display and a 6.3-inch external screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is known for its great performance, multitasking potential, and battery life.
As the update rolls out, OnePlus continues to monitor the progress and is working to provide the best user experience for OnePlus Open owners.
OnePlus Open users can expect their devices to automatically download the software update, but they can also manually check for the update by heading into Settings > About device > OxygenOS > Check for update.
While the company has not included the OnePlus Open in its OxygenOS 14 roadmap for the final months of 2023, there is always a possibility that plans may change, and OnePlus will keep users updated on any developments.
