Revolutionary Upgrades: iPhone 16 Pro Introduces Periscope and New Ultrawide, iPhone 17 with High-Performance Front Camera
In the latest report by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, major upgrades coming to the 2024 and 2025 iPhone lineups have been outlined. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to gain the tetraprism zoom camera from the iPhone 15 Pro Max and is also expected to increase the screen size to 6.27 inches. This upgrade is anticipated to make a big impact.
Additionally, both models of the iPhone 16 Pro are set to upgrade the 12MP 1/2.6-inch ultrawide angle camera to a 48MP 1/2.55-inch unit. Despite this increase in megapixels, the camera will still output 12MP shots. The ultrawide will also keep the 6P lens design.
Another major upgrade will be to the selfie camera. Reportedly, all iPhone 17 models will be equipped with a new 24MP front-facing camera with a 6P lens, which is a significant improvement from the current 12MP 5P unit on current iPhones.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Genius (Yujingguang) will be the sole supplier of the new ultrawide and selfie modules, which is expected to lead to a major increase in revenue for the company in the second half of 2024 and 2025.
These upgrades are set to bring significant improvements to the iPhone lineup, offering users better camera capabilities and an enhanced overall experience. According to the report, the upgrades will make the iPhone 16 Pro a sought-after device and the iPhone 17 models are expected to feature a serious front camera, which is sure to excite users.
Overall, these advancements in camera technology and other features are poised to make the upcoming iPhone models highly desirable for consumers. With the increase in screen size, improved camera capabilities, and other enhancements, the 2024 and 2025 iPhone lineups are expected to make a big splash in the smartphone market.
