Infinix is set to release the Smart 8 HD on December 8th, following the unveiling of the Smart 8 earlier this month. The new smartphone will be available in Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White colors, with a unique squircle-shaped camera island on the back containing two cameras and a circular flash.
The Smart 8 HD will feature a 6.6″ HD+ Sunlight Readable punch-hole display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness. It will also include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB-C port, as well as UFS 2.2 storage.
Infinix has promised “several upgrades compared to its predecessor”, and the Indian branch of the company has shared images revealing the design and color options of the new smartphone.
With the official launch still two weeks away, there will likely be more features and specifications revealed by Infinix in the coming days.
The company is confident that the Smart 8 HD will bring a “paradigm shift in the budget smartphone landscape”, and consumers can expect more details to be released as the launch date approaches.
