Rumor Mill: Action Button Coming to Entire iPhone 16 Lineup – Click Here for the scoop!
Apple is rumored to add a new feature to its upcoming iPhone 16 series. According to a report from MacRumors, the company may include an Action button on all four iPhone 16 models. This button, which will replace the traditional mute switch, was previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models.
The rumored Action button on the iPhone 16 series is said to be capacitive, meaning it will not be a mechanical switch but will instead feature a force sensor feedback similar to the TouchID sensors on older iPhones and the Force Touch trackpad on MacBooks.
In addition to the new Action button, Apple is also reportedly experimenting with a capacitive Capture button located on the right-hand side of the iPhone 16, below the power button. This button would allow users to easily capture photos with their devices.
MacRumors also suggests that the next generation iPhone SE, expected to launch in 2025, will also feature the new Action button.
The report from MacRumors has generated excitement among Apple fans, who are eagerly anticipating the release of the iPhone 16 series. The addition of these new buttons could bring added functionality and convenience to the popular smartphone lineup.
While these rumors have not been confirmed by Apple, they have sparked speculation and discussion among tech enthusiasts. As the release of the iPhone 16 series draws nearer, consumers will be eager to see if these new features come to fruition.
For now, Apple has not made any official announcements regarding the iPhone 16 series or the rumored new buttons. As with any rumors, it’s important to take this information with a grain of salt until official confirmation is provided by the company.
In the meantime, Apple fans will have to wait and see what the tech giant has in store for its highly anticipated iPhone 16 series.
