Park stress-free with Android Auto’s new Google Maps feature for hassle-free parking

Google Maps for Android Auto now has a new feature that makes it easier to remember where you parked your car. When you reach your destination, a “Save Parking” button appears on the screen. With just one tap, you can save your parking location, and the information will be stored in your Google account.

Not only that, but the following day, your Android device will remind you of where you parked, so you never have to worry about forgetting again. This feature can be especially helpful for those who struggle to remember where they parked in a crowded parking garage or unfamiliar area.

The feature also takes into account any additional driving you may do after reaching your destination. It records specific scenarios, such as parking in a driveway versus a garage. This means that if you spend time looking for a parking spot, hitting the toggle to save your parking location will accurately pinpoint your final parking spot.

This “Save Parking” feature is an expansion of a feature that was first introduced on Google Maps for Android and iOS in 2017. Users with Android phones can save their parking spot directly from the Maps app by tapping on the blue dot indicating their location and selecting “Save Your Parking”.

This new addition to Google Maps for Android Auto provides added convenience, allowing users to save their parking location directly from their dashboard without having to reach for their phone. With this feature, users can have peace of mind knowing that they will always be able to find their parked car quickly and easily.
