Samsung has just released two new budget-friendly phones in Vietnam. The Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 come with a “Key Island” design, AMOLED screens, and four years of OS upgrades. These phones are packed with features despite their affordable price.
Both the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, along with a raised frame on the right side that houses volume rockers and fingerprint sensors. The Galaxy A15 comes in LTE and 5G models, while the Galaxy A25 is a 5G model. The A15 also features a 90Hz refresh rate, while the A25 has a higher 120Hz refresh rate screen.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A15 LTE has a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, while the 5G model comes with a Dimensity 6100 Plus SoC. The Galaxy A25 has an Exynos 1280 chipset. The storage options include up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage, with support for external memory of up to 1TB.
All three models come with a 5000mAh battery and support for 25W fast charging. They also have similar camera setups, including a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie shooter. The Galaxy A15 LTE also has a 5MP super wide-angle camera, while the Galaxy A25 has a larger 8MP sensor.
These phones will come with One UI 6 (Android 14) out of the box, and Samsung is promising at least four years of OS upgrades and five years of security upgrades, which is impressive for budget phones.
The Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 will go on sale in Vietnam starting December 16, with prices starting at VND 4,990,000 (~$206) for the LTE A15, VND 6,290,000 (~$260) for the 5G variant, and VND 6,590,000 (~$272) for the A25 5G. The phones will be available in several colorful options.
