The new vivo Y36i has been officially announced, joining the lineup of the Y36 4G and Y36 5G models. Priced at CNY1,199 ($170/€155/INR14,080), the Y36i comes with a 6.56″ HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also boasts a peak brightness of 840 nits and a notch for the 5MP selfie camera.

Powered by the Dimensity 6020 SoC, the Y36i is equipped with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. It runs on the Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0 and features 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Y36i also showcases a 13MP primary rear camera and an anti-stroboscopic sensor. It is available in three different colors and has been listed on vivo’s official Chinese website. However, its availability in other countries is yet to be confirmed.
