Infinix Launches New Hot 40 Series for Affordable Gaming
Infinix has just unveiled the new Hot 40 series, which includes three phones: the Hot 40 Pro, Hot 40, and Hot 40i. All three phones come equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and a special feature called Xboost gaming engine, designed to optimize the hardware for a better gaming experience.
The Hot 40 Pro is the most powerful of the trio, featuring a 6nm Helio G99 chipset and a 6.78” LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and support for up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It also comes with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The main camera on the Hot 40 Pro boasts an impressive 108 MP sensor, along with a 2 MP macro shooter and an AI cam. The selfie camera features a 32 MP sensor and is housed in a punch hole with a unique Dynamic Island-type notification zone called the Magic Ring.
In addition, the Xboost engine on the Hot 40 Pro provides enhanced stability during gameplay, with the ability to charge the battery from 20% to 75% in just 35 minutes using the included 33W charger. This phone will be available in four colors — Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green.
The vanilla Hot 40 shares most of the specs with the Pro version, including the 5,000 mAh battery and 33W charging. It also features a 6.78” LCD screen but with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 270 Hz touch sampling rate. The main camera on the Hot 40 is a 50 MP shooter, with similar 2 MP macro and AI cams. It also comes with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, and will be available in the same four colors as the Pro.
The Hot 40i is the most affordable phone in the series, featuring a Unisoc T606 chipset with an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU. It comes with a 6.56” LCD display, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera and an AI cam, along with a 32 MP selfie shooter with the Magic Ring. The battery is limited to 18W charging, and this phone will also be available in Black, Blue, Gold, and Green.
While specific pricing details have not been revealed, Infinix has stated that the Hot 40 series will be priced under $200 and will vary from market to market. With its focus on delivering top-notch gaming features at an affordable price point, the Hot 40 series is set to make waves in the smartphone market.
