Honor X7b: The Affordable New Phone with a Big Battery and High-Quality Camera
Today, Honor has launched the new X7b, which is the most affordable phone from the brand to be available internationally. Despite its affordability, the phone comes with some impressive features such as a joint-largest battery, a 108 MP main camera, and a Snapdragon 680 chipset.
The X7b is equipped with a Qualcomm chip that supports LTE-only, limiting the phone to 4G networks. It sports a 6.8” LCD with 1080p resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The display is also certified by TUV Rheinland for emitting low blue light. There is a single punch hole on the front panel for the 8 MP selfie camera.
On the back of the phone, there are three cameras lined up within two big black circles. The main sensor boasts a 108 MP resolution with an f/1.8 lens. It is accompanied by a 5 MP f/2.2 ultrawide shooter and a basic 2 MP camera for macro photos.
One of the key selling points of the Honor X7b is its big 6,000 mAh battery, which can provide up to 18 hours of video playback, 24 hours of social media browsing, or 69 hours of music streaming. It also supports fast charging up to 35W through the USB-C port with the Honor SuperCharge adapter.
The phone comes with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB or 256GB, which can be expanded through the microSD card slot. It runs on MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13.
Available in Flowing Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black, the Honor X7b is officially priced at $249 (€229), but prices may vary slightly depending on the market.
In conclusion, the Honor X7b is set to provide an affordable option for consumers without compromising on essential features such as battery life and camera quality.
