Discover the 6 must-have Apple products that are no longer available in 2023
In the year 2023, Apple has made many changes to its product lineup. Some devices have been discontinued, while new and upgraded models have been introduced.
One of the most notable discontinued products is the iPhone mini series. Despite being adored by a niche community, Apple decided to retire the lineup after the iPhone 13 series. Users looking for a small iPhone now only have the option of the iPhone SE (2022).
Another discontinued product is the 27-inch iMac, which hasn’t been updated since 2020. Apple has confirmed that they will not be making an Apple Silicon version of the 27-inch iMac. Instead, users are encouraged to consider the 24-inch iMac, Mac Studio, or Mac Mini.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar has also been discontinued, and has been replaced by a brand-new 14-inch MacBook Pro featuring the newer M3 chip and various hardware improvements.
In an effort to become more environmentally friendly, Apple has also discontinued its leather accessories in favor of a new, lower carbon footprint FineWoven fabric. The MagSafe Battery Pack and MagSafe Duo Charger have also been discontinued, as they have become outdated following the release of the iPhone 15 series.
On the other hand, Apple has introduced new and upgraded products, such as the refreshed 24-inch iMac with the powerful new M3 chip, the 14.2-inch MacBook Pro with the new M2 Pro or M2 Max-powered chips, and the iPhone SE (2022) with 5G and the A15 Bionic Chip.
These changes reflect Apple’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, as well as their dedication to providing users with the best possible technology. While some fan-favorite products may no longer be available, the introduction of new and improved devices ensures that Apple continues to meet the needs of its customers.
