Get Early Access: Try Out Google’s Latest Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1.1 Update for Pixel Devices Now!

Google released a new beta version of its Android 14 QPR2 operating system for Pixel phones. This update aims to fix app-related issues and bring minor improvements to the devices. The beta is available for Pixel 5a and above, including the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet.

The latest release, called Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1.1, is now available for users on the Android Beta for Pixel program. The update includes fixes for issues that caused some apps to be removed after a system update and prevented their reinstallation. It also addresses other issues related to system stability, performance, and connectivity.

Devices such as the Pixel 5a, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro will have the version AP11.231020.016, while the rest will come with version AP11.231020.016.A1. The update also includes the November 2023 security patch.

Users enrolled in the beta program can expect to receive the over-the-air update for Beta 1.1 from Google this week. They can also manually check for the update by going to their Pixel’s Settings > System > System update.

This new beta release follows the previous Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1, which addressed issues such as the package manager crashing while installing some apps and 5G connectivity issues. The stable QPR1 release is expected in December, with the next major quarterly update likely to arrive in March.
