Redmi’s New Smartphone Redmi K70E Teased to Launch by End of the Month
Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has started teasing its upcoming Redmi K70E smartphone, set to launch by the end of the month. The new smartphone will be released alongside the K70 and K70 Pro, making it a part of the highest-end K series from Redmi.
The Redmi K70E will be powered by the just-unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, confirmed by Redmi’s official teasers. Notably, this won’t be just the regular 8300, but the 8300-Ultra. The exact details of what the “Ultra” stands for are not confirmed yet.
In a previous benchmark test, the K70 was spotted with the same chipset. Redmi is emphasizing the K70E’s performance, with a prototype scoring an impressive 1,526,328 points in AnTuTu. Additionally, after an hour of gaming in an open-world game at 25 degrees Celsius, the phone maintained a steady 58.86 FPS. This indicates that the K70E is targeted towards avid gamers who may not be able to afford Xiaomi’s flagship line.
The new smartphone will also feature generative AI for real-time closed captions, sentence generation, and photo prompts.
While the official launch is only a few weeks away, the exact features and specifications of the Redmi K70E are yet to be revealed. However, Redmi’s teasers have created a buzz among smartphone enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the arrival of this new addition to the Redmi K series.
