Huawei Unveils New MatePad Pro 11″ (2024) with Upgraded Features
Huawei has recently showcased the new MatePad Pro 11″ (2024) on their website, featuring several upgrades from the 2022 model. The refreshed tablet boasts the same 11-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with the controversial 7nm Kirin 9000s chip, also found in the Mate 60 line.
The 2024 variant also retains the 8300mAh battery and 66W wired charging capability from its predecessor, as well as the camera sensors, including a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the rear panel, along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It can also record in up to 4K at 30fps.
One of the notable upgrades in the 2024 model is the addition of two-way satellite connectivity through the BeiDou satellite network, although the cellular connectivity option is currently unavailable. The tablet maintains its sleek 5.9mm thickness and sports an OLED display that occupies 92% of the front panel.
Equipped with Harmony OS 4, the 2024 tablet comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at CNY4299 ($604) in China. For 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, the tablet is offered at a price of CNY4,799 ($673). While a global version of the tablet has not been announced, Huawei released a global version of the 2022 model, indicating the possibility of an international release for the new device.
Although the availability and pricing for the global market are yet to be confirmed, tech enthusiasts worldwide can look forward to experiencing the upgraded features of the Huawei MatePad Pro 11″ (2024) outside of China in the near future.
