This week, some exciting phone announcements were made in China. Two of the most highly anticipated phones are the OnePlus 12 and the Realme GT5 Pro. The OnePlus 12 is set to launch in China on December 11 and is expected to arrive globally in January.
The Realme GT5 Pro is another exciting phone announced this week. It shares a similar chipset and RAM combo to the OnePlus 12, as well as a 5,400mAh battery and impressive charging options. The Realme GT5 Pro features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. It has a main camera with a 50 MP dual-stacked sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP periscope zoom. The Realme GT5 Pro is currently available for pre-order and will ship on December 14 in China. Unfortunately, it is unlikely to reach global markets.
In other news, Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 13 Pro series will be launching globally in January 2024, featuring a 200 MP main camera. Additionally, Nothing has teased the upcoming launch of the Phone 2a, which is rumored to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, dual cameras, and Nothing’s signature Glyph interface rear panel.
