Upgrade Alert: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ now supports Android 14 in select countries!

Samsung has finally rolled out the Android 14 update for its Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ in select countries including Australia and Turkey. This update comes with the One UI 6.0 version, bringing a revamped quick settings panel, enhanced Home screen and widgets, a new design for emojis, and various other improvements.

The update weighs in at 2GB and includes the November 2023 security patch. Samsung users in Australia and Turkey can check for the update by heading to Settings, then selecting Software update, and finally choosing Download and install. The firmware version to look for is either X610XXU1BWK9 or X610OJM1BWKA.

While Samsung has been rolling out Android 14 updates for many of its Galaxy devices, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ seems to be one of the company’s last tablets to receive the software upgrade in 2023. Although Android 14 rollouts will continue into 2024, it’s unlikely that new devices will see the update in the last few days of the year.

For those who own Galaxy devices that didn’t receive the update yet, Samsung is expected to release those in 2024. Overall, Samsung users can look forward to a range of updated features and improved functionality with the Android 14 upgrade for their Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
