OnePlus 12’s new display details revealed before launch
As the launch of the OnePlus 12 in China draws near, more information about the next-gen Android flagship is starting to come out. Tipster DigitalChatStation shared a post on Weibo with details about the OP 12’s display and real-life images of the device with its BOE X1 display.
The OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO OLED with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 px and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel, made by BOE, boasts 4,500 nits of peak brightness in auto mode and 1,722 nits with the manual slider in normal use.
Additionally, the leak reveals that the OnePlus 12’s display has an average Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) value of 0.35 and an A+ certification from DisplayMate for exceptional brightness and color accuracy.
The new screen will also feature Oppo’s P1 display chip and 2,160Hz PWM dimming for added eye protection. The BOE-developed panel will offer improved color accuracy with sunlight highlighting algorithms and single-pixel calibrating technology.
