Exclusive OnePlus Watch 2 Leaks: Revealing Specifications and Comparison to Pixel Watch 2!
OnePlus Watch 2: New Model to Debut in 2024
A new smartwatch is on the horizon from OnePlus, as the company has received regulatory approval for the OnePlus Watch 2. The Bureau of Indian Standards has certified the new model, with a possible early 2024 release. The OnePlus Watch 2 could make its debut alongside the OnePlus 12 handset.
Renders of the new smartwatch have been shared by MySmartPrice and @OnLeaks. The OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, similar to the Pixel Watch 2. Additionally, both watches will run on the Wear OS 4 operating system.
The original OnePlus Watch came with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage, using its own operating system. However, the use of Wear OS 4 in the OnePlus Watch 2 marks a significant upgrade, allowing for a wider range of apps to be installed on the device.
The design of the OnePlus Watch 2 will feature a circular dial with a bump on the right side housing additional buttons, distinguishing it from the original model. It’s important to note that the renders are based on a prototype in the testing phase, and the final version of the device may differ from what has been shared.
While the price of the OnePlus Watch 2 has not been confirmed, the first-generation model was priced at $159. With its enhanced features and updated operating system, the new smartwatch is expected to offer an improved user experience. Stay tuned for more updates on the OnePlus Watch 2 as it nears its official release.
