Watch the Nubia Z60 Ultra Disassembled in Action – Must-See Video!

The nubia Z60 Ultra is now available for pre-order in America and Europe, and it will start shipping on December 29th. This phone comes in Black and Silver, as well as a special edition inspired by Van Gogh’s The Starry Night. The team at WekiHome took apart the special edition to see how its camera works.

The camera island on the back of the phone is shaped oddly and sticks out to different heights. To understand why, the team removed the glass panel and found that everything is packed tightly in the upper third of the phone – the cameras and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 based motherboard. Below that is a large 6,000mAh battery.

What makes the nubia Z60 Ultra camera setup interesting is that all three modules have OIS (optical image stabilization) – even the 100° ultra wide one. The reason for the spread out cameras is that the magnets and coils of each OIS module might interfere with the neighboring module if they are too close.

To conduct heat away, the backs of the camera modules are covered in copper foil. The vapor chamber on the Z60 Ultra is smaller than that of the Z50 Ultra, but it relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s efficiency to keep the system cool.

With these unique features, the nubia Z60 Ultra is sure to appeal to photography enthusiasts and those looking for a cool-running, high-performing smartphone. This phone is set to be a game-changer in the world of mobile photography.
