Experience the Next Level: Razr+ Sequel with Chip Upgrade, Stunning Design, and AI Capabilities

Motorola’s Next-Gen Razr Plus to Feature AI Capabilities and Stunning Design
Get ready for the next generation of Motorola’s Razr Plus smartphone, as it is set to be equipped with the processing power needed to handle AI-related tasks. Lenovo China’s head of mobile devices, Chen Jin, announced via China’s Weibo social media platform that the 2024 smartphone line will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 application processor, making the Razr Plus capable of handling advanced AI tasks.

In addition to the chipset upgrade, the Razr Plus (2024) is expected to receive a “stunning” design overhaul. Last year’s changes to the clamshell foldable included a larger 3.6-inch external Quick View display on the Razr Plus (2023), covering the entire rear panel when folded. The Quick View external screen proved to be highly useful, allowing users to have an enjoyable experience with the device without even opening it.

The current Razr Plus (2023) is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, but the next iteration will require a more powerful application processor to handle advanced AI tasks. The new Razr Plus is expected to retain many of the current specs, including the 6.9-inch internal plastic OLED display, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

The current model of the Razr Plus (2023) is available from Motorola for $699.99, with a $300 discount. Color options include Infinite Black, Glacier Blue, Peach Fuzz, and Viva Magenta.

Lenovo China’s Chen also revealed that the company’s custom AI features will be available on all Motorola flagship phones, Moto G mid-range models, and the sequel to the Razr Plus. It is important to note that Chen’s statements may refer to the Chinese versions of the handsets.

Motorola fans can now look forward to a powerful, AI-capable Razr Plus with a stunning new design, set to be released in 2024.
