iQOO, a sub-brand of vivo, is gearing up to officially launch the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones on December 27th. With the big day approaching, prototypes of these smartphones are being put through their paces, and the results are quite impressive.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro was recently spotted in the Geekbench online database, where it achieved a single-core score of 2,235 and a multi-core score of 7,381. This impressive performance can be attributed to its powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, paired with a whopping 16GB of RAM. It is expected that the Neo9 Pro will run on Android 14, paired with either Funtouch OS 14 for global markets, or Origin OS 4 in China.

On the other hand, the vanilla Neo9 is anticipated to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Neo9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, up to 512GB of storage, a 50 MP main rear camera, a 16 MP selfie camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging.

With such impressive specifications and performance, the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro are sure to make a mark in the smartphone market. Stay tuned for the official launch on December 27th, where more details about these exciting new devices will be revealed.
