Huawei Unveils New HarmonyOS Tablet and Windows Laptop
Today, Huawei launched the MatePad Pro 11 2024, a new tablet, and the MateBook D16 2024, a Windows laptop, at a product launch event in China. The MatePad Pro 11 2024 features an 11-inch OLED display with a 1,600 x 2,560px resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also boasts an aluminum chassis, six speakers, and is just 5.9mm thick.
This tablet is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9000s chipset, which includes a 1+3+4 CPU configuration. It has a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The MatePad Pro 11 2024 runs on HarmonyOS 4 and comes with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. It also supports two-way Beidou Satellite messaging and has an 8,300 mAh battery with 66W charging.
The MateBook D16 2024, on the other hand, features a 16-inch IPS LCD display with a 1920×1200px resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It comes with a 1080p webcam and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. The laptop is available with different processor options, including the 13th Gen Intel Core i5, i7, and i9, all equipped with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 1TB M.2 SSD.
Both devices come in multiple color options, with the MatePad Pro 11 2024 priced at CNY 4,199 ($592) for the 12/256GB version and CNY 4,699 ($663) for the 12/512GB version. The MateBook D16 2024 starts at CNY 4,999 ($705) for the baseline model and goes up to CNY 6,499 ($917) for the Core i9 version.
