Honor Releases New X50i+ Smartphone with 108 MP Camera
Today, Honor launched a new smartphone called the X50i+. This new phone is equipped with a 108 MP main camera, a lightweight body, and comes at a relatively low price.
The Honor X50i+ features a 6.7” AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz. It also includes an 8 MP selfie camera inside an oval cutout, giving the setup a unique and more complicated look.
Powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 chipset, the phone comes with 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB. It runs on MagicOS 7.2, which is based on Android 13.
The camera design of the Honor X50i+ includes a 108 MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor. Despite its advanced camera capabilities, the phone is incredibly thin, measuring just 6.78 mm at its base and weighs only 166 grams.
The phone has a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh and supports 33W charging. It is one of the lightest smartphones to be launched in 2023.
The Honor X50i+ is available in China in four colors: Powder Gold, Light Blue with sparkling details, Black, and Green with plain panels. The 256 GB version is priced at CNY1,599 ($220), while the 512 GB variant is priced at CNY1,799 ($245).
