Death Stranding Director’s Cut Delayed: Play on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for the Ultimate Experience!

The highly anticipated game Death Stranding Director’s Cut for iPhone was expected to be released by the end of the year. However, developer 505 Games has announced that the game will be delayed and will now have a new release date in early 2024.

Hardware-accelerated ray tracing is a feature that aims to provide realistic lighting, reflections and shadows to generate photo-realistic graphics. This technology is made possible by the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, allowing for smoother graphics and more immersive gaming experiences.

Apple highlighted four games, including Death Stranding Director’s Cut, that are set to take advantage of the hardware-accelerated ray tracing capabilities of the A17 Pro chip. Additionally, this is part of the company’s plan to turn the iPhone 15 into the world’s best game console, offering console titles never before seen on a smartphone.

The delay in the release of Death Stranding Director’s Cut for iPhone, iPad, and Mac was confirmed by 505 Games, citing the need for “a little more time.” As a result, players will have to wait until early 2024 to experience the game on these platforms, with the added bonus of cross-over content from Cyberpunk 2077 and Half-Life.
