ASUS Zenfone 10 gets early access to Android 14 – coming soon!

ASUS Releases Android 14 Update for Zenfone 10

ASUS has started rolling out its Android 14 update for all Zenfone 10 owners. The software update includes several system-wide improvements and revamped apps, as well as new “Photo and Video” permissions for enhanced security.

The update, which has a download size of 1.3GB, is being released in batches, so users should expect to see the firmware version 34.1004.0204.65 over the next few days. In addition to Android 14, the update also addresses speakerphone call echo problems that Zenfone 10 owners have experienced.

Other improvements include optimizations for Bluetooth headset disconnections and noise issues, as well as revamped apps such as Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, Emergency Dialer, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound recorder, Settings, Phone Clone, Local backup, Launcher, and more.

ASUS advises Zenfone 10 owners to back up their data before downloading and installing the Android 14 update. Additionally, certain third-party apps may not be supported in the new software. Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System Update.

The Taiwanese company refuted rumors in August about the cancellation of its small Zenfone series, reaffirming its commitment to the lineup. The Zenfone 10, released in July, features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a pair of decent cameras, and a 3.5mm jack.

Users of the ASUS Zenfone 10 can expect an improved experience with the new Android 14 update, bringing enhanced security and system-wide improvements to their devices. The update is being rolled out in batches, so users should be patient as they wait for the software to become available on their devices.
