Honor Debuts New X50 GT Smartphone
Today, Honor has unveiled its latest smartphone, the X50 GT, which is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, making it one of the best performing phones in its price range. The X50 GT is similar to the Honor X50 Pro but boasts more RAM and storage options, as well as a stylish racing stripe on the back.
Equipped with a 6.78” AMOLED display of 1220p resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rate, the X50 GT also offers three new memory combinations – 16 GB RAM paired with either 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB storage. In addition, the rear camera features a 108 MP sensor, while the selfie camera boasts an 8 MP sensor.
The X50 GT comes with a vapor chamber and up to 5,100 sq. mm cooling area, along with a sizable 5,800 mAh battery that supports 35W wired charging. It runs on Android 13 with a heavily customized MagicOS 7.2 on top and includes features such as an under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, and IP53 water- and dust resistance. However, it does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The new Honor X50 GT is now available for purchase in China in Black or Silver colors, with prices starting from CNY1,999 ($280/€255) and going up to CNY2,799 ($390/€350), depending on the chosen storage capacity.
