Samsung Galaxy users are facing issues with wireless connectivity on Android Auto after a recent update. Several users have reported problems connecting their Galaxy S22 Ultra, S22 Plus, Galaxy A54, and a few Galaxy S23 series devices wirelessly to Android Auto after a November 2023 update.

The problem seems to be consistent across different Samsung devices, with users experiencing inconsistent connectivity and frequent disconnections while using Android Auto wirelessly. Additionally, Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 owners have also reported similar issues following a December update.

Affected users have taken to Google’s Android Auto forum to report their connectivity issues, with some users stating that the Bluetooth connectivity for Android Auto has stopped working after updating to Samsung’s One UI 6. Others have reported continuous connection and disconnection issues over wireless.

Although Google is aware of the problems and has joined in on the conversations, there is no timeline for when an update to fix the connectivity problems will be released. In the meantime, users can try connecting their Android phones to Android Auto via a cable for better stability. Some Pixel owners have reported that switching to the Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2 has solved the problem for them.

This isn’t the first time Android Auto has faced connectivity problems with Android devices. In the past, Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 owners also reported inconsistencies with wireless connectivity, and using a cable provided the best experience until a proper patch was rolled out.

Despite the reports, not every Samsung device with One UI 6 is experiencing problems with Android Auto. Samsung is continuing its rollout of One UI 6 (Android 14) to its devices throughout December and into 2024.

Overall, the connectivity issues with Android Auto on Samsung and Pixel devices are an ongoing concern, and users will have to wait for a fix from Google to address these problems.
