Samsung Galaxy A05s Review: Find out if the GSMArena.com tests show it’s worth your money!

Samsung’s budget-friendly Galaxy A series keeps growing with the addition of the Galaxy A05s. This new entry-level device is now available in a 4GB RAM version, making it even more affordable and accessible to customers. The 6.7-inch smartphone comes with a 90Hz FullHD PLS LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. It also features a rear triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a 13MP front camera capable of 1080p video capture.

Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A04s, the A05s has seen significant upgrades, including a larger display with better resolution, a more powerful chipset, and an improved selfie camera. However, some aspects, such as the slow eMMC 5.1 internal storage, have not been upgraded.

The retail package for the Galaxy A05s is minimal, with just a USB Type-A to Type-C cable and a SIM ejector tool included. This barebones approach reflects the device’s focus on affordability and simplicity.

The Galaxy A05s is currently available in select markets such as Malaysia and India, positioning itself as an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers looking for a well-rounded smartphone experience. Despite its shortcomings, the A05s offers a compelling package for those in search of an entry-level smartphone with modern features and decent performance.
