Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A55 is making headlines with rumors about its powerful new chipset, the Exynos 1480. The Galaxy A55 won’t be featuring a Qualcomm chipset but instead will come with the Exynos 1480, codenamed “Rose.” The Geekbench database has revealed promising test results for the new chipset, showing improvements in both single-core and multi-core CPU tests compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A54.
The Galaxy A55’s Exynos 1480 Geekbench performance is impressive, with a single-core CPU score of 1,180 points and a multi-core CPU score of 3,536 points, surpassing the Galaxy A54’s Exynos 1380 scores.
In addition to its powerful chipset, the Galaxy A55 is expected to feature an Xclipse 530 GPU, offering better graphics performance than its predecessor. The device is also rumored to support 25W fast charging and come with a 5,000 mAh battery, similar to the Galaxy A54.
Camera rumors suggest the Galaxy A55 will have a 50 MP primary camera, potentially with some improvements over the Galaxy A54’s camera.
