Huawei Launches FreeClip Wireless Earbuds and MatePad Pro 13.2 Tablet
Huawei has revealed its latest gadgets, the FreeClip wireless earbuds and the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet. The FreeClip is designed with a unique open-ear design and is part of Huawei’s wearable Fashion Forward proposition. It is perfect for those who want in-ear wireless headphones that allow them to stay attuned to their surroundings. The earbuds are designed for all-day comfort, with features such as the Comfort Bean, the Acoustic Ball, and the C-bridge Design.
What sets the FreeClip apart is that it is the industry’s first open-ear bud that does not distinguish between left and right ears. The earbuds offer up to 32 hours of listening and can fully charge in just 40 minutes, with 10 minutes of charging providing up to 3 hours of listening time. Additionally, the buds are IP54 splash-proof, making them suitable for outdoor use.
The FreeClip is set to be released in the UK and Europe in late December, with a price tag of £180 and €200, respectively. Customers in the UK who purchase the FreeClip between today and January 29 will also receive a free Huawei Band 8.
In addition to the FreeClip, Huawei has also made its flagship MatePad Pro 13.2″ tablet globally available. The tablet will be available for pre-order in Europe on January 8 and will officially launch on January 22. Pricing for the MatePad Pro 13.2″ varies, with the 12/256GB model priced at €999, the 12/512GB unit at €1,199, the Smart Magnetic Keyboard at €199, and the M-Pencil at €99.
The MatePad Pro 13.2″ is powered by the Kirin 9000S SoC, runs HarmonyOS 4, and boasts up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage onboard. It features a 13.2″ 144Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2,880×1,920 pixels, and is equipped with a 10,100 mAh battery with 88W wired charging. The tablet also comes with six speakers and three cameras – a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera, as well as a ToF 3D sensor.
With the launch of the FreeClip wireless earbuds and the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet, Huawei continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the tech industry, offering consumers cutting-edge products that provide both style and functionality.
