Get ready to upgrade your fitness routine with Samsung’s Galaxy Fit 3 – launching soon!
Samsung is set to release a new fitness tracker called the “Samsung Galaxy Fit3,” according to a recent listing on Bluetooth SIG. The new fitness band will utilize the latest Bluetooth 5.3 standard, offering faster connectivity and improved battery life compared to older standards. Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Fit 3 will feature a wider AMOLED display and a larger 200mAh battery, with a 5W charging speed.
The model number for the Galaxy Fit 3 is confirmed as SM-R390, and it is expected to be launched in the first half of 2024. The Korean news site Asia Economy claims that the new tracker will be priced at twice the cost of the previous model, the Galaxy Fit 2. However, it is unlikely that the launch will coincide with the release of the Galaxy S24, as stated by a Samsung official.
With a target of selling one million Fit 3 trackers, Samsung aims to fulfill the requests of current Fit 2 owners for an updated model. The expected price of the Galaxy Fit 3 could be at or above $100, positioning it above budget fitness trackers but below premium options like the Fitbit Charge 6.
The launch of the Galaxy Fit 3 is anticipated before the release of the Galaxy Watch 7 next summer. Despite the higher cost, Samsung’s new fitness tracker promises to offer advanced features and improved performance for health and fitness enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more updates as Samsung prepares to unveil the Galaxy Fit 3 in the near future.
