Oppo Launches Affordable Pad Air2 Tablet
Today, Oppo unveiled the new Pad Air2 tablet along with the Reno11 smartphones. The Pad Air2, which is actually a renamed version of the OnePlus Pad Go for the Chinese market, comes with a big screen and a large battery.
Although Oppo did not disclose the full specifications of the Pad Air2 at the launch, it is the same device as the OnePlus tablet, but without the green color. The tablet features an 11.4-inch LCD with a 7:5 ratio and a resolution of 2408 x 1720 pixels. Additionally, the 10-bit panel can refresh at up to 90 Hz.
With a battery capacity of 8,000 mAh and 33W charging, the Pad Air2 promises long-lasting battery life and fast charging capabilities. It also features Dolby Atmos sound and four speakers with 86 dB loudness, providing a great audio experience.
Oppo is marketing the Pad Air2 as a tablet for the younger audience, equipped with ColorOS for Pad features like a customizable taskbar, smart file galleries, and multi-finger gestures. The tablet is Wi-Fi only.
The Pad Air2 is set to go on sale on November 25 and is currently available for pre-order at three different price points – CNY 1,299 ($180/€165) for the 6/128 GB model, CNY 1,499 ($210/€190) for the 8/128 GB model, and CNY 1,699 ($240/€220) for the 8/256 GB model.
With its affordable pricing and impressive features, the Oppo Pad Air2 aims to make a mark in the tablet market.
