Vivo’s X100 and X100 Pro Set for Global Launch

Vivo’s latest smartphones, the X100 and X100 Pro, are all set to make their global debut after their successful launch in China last month. The X100 series is gearing up to hit markets in India and Indonesia, while the more advanced X100 Pro will be exclusively available in Europe.

Both phones come equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The X100 Pro introduces a cinematic portrait mode, offering automatic focus switching and a unique sun mode, potentially rivaling the popular iPhone’s cinematic mode.

The X100 Pro boasts a massive 50MP one-inch-type main camera and a telephoto camera with 4.3x optical magnification. It also introduces a cinematic portrait mode with auto-shift focus between subjects, a feature not commonly found in many Android phones. The regular X100 features a 50MP main camera and a 64MP 3x optical telephoto, both with Zeiss coatings.

Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, with the X100 Pro packing a 5,400mAh battery and 100W wired charging, while the standard X100 offers a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging.

In terms of pricing, the X100 Pro is priced at HK$7,998 in Hong Kong (approximately €932), while the non-Pro comes in at HK$5,998 (around €699).

The global launch of Vivo’s X100 and X100 Pro is highly anticipated, as the smartphones are expected to offer advanced features and performance, catering to the needs of tech-savvy users worldwide.
