Insider Reveals: Redmi Note 13 Series to Receive 3 Years of Android Updates – HyperOS Not Included
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 series is set to launch on January 4, 2024, with some exciting features. According to a tipster, the phones will come with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and users can expect 3 years of Android updates up to Android 16, along with 4 years of security updates. However, the phones will not receive the anticipated Xiaomi HyperOS anytime soon.
The Pro model of the Redmi Note 13 series will boast a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a 200MP main camera, while the Pro+ model will offer IP68 resistance and a Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. Both models will come with a 5,100mAh battery and will be available in black, blue, and white colors. There will also be a 12/512GB RAM variant.
The standard Redmi Note 13 5G will feature a Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 16MP front camera. The Pro and Pro+ models will have additional 8MP and 2MP rear cameras. All models will have a battery capacity ranging from 5,000mAh to 5,100mAh with fast charging capabilities, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 rating for durability.
While the news of not receiving the Xiaomi HyperOS may disappoint some users, the promising features of the Redmi Note 13 series are still drawing anticipation.
