Unleash Ultimate Visual Experience with LG’s Dual-Hz OLED Monitor – 4K 240Hz and FullHD 480Hz Modes Revealed!
LG has announced the UltraGear OLED gaming monitors that will be revealed at CES 2024. The main feature of the new 32GS95UE is the Dual-Hz, which allows the monitor to switch between two modes. One mode runs the display at native 4K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, while the other mode runs it at a reduced FullHD resolution with a 480Hz refresh rate.
Users can easily switch between these modes using a hotkey or the joystick on the monitor. The 32GS95UE also includes DCI-P3 coverage of 98.5%, 0.03ms GtG response times, DisplayHDR True Black 400 support, and dual HDMI 2.1 ports. However, the single DisplayPort is rated at 1.4, requiring heavy reliance on Display Stream Compression (DSC) to access the full resolution and refresh rates the panel is capable of.
Additionally, the 32GS95UE is equipped with a built-in speaker system and support for DTS Virtual:X through the speakers and the built-in headphone jack. LG has also announced five other OLED monitors, including the 34-inch and 39-inch 34GS95QE and 39GS95QE, with similar features as the 32GS95UE. The 45GS95QE and the 45GS96QB are 45-inch 3440×1440 240Hz curved OLED monitors, with the latter having built-in speakers and USB-C 65W charging. Finally, the 27GS95QE has a 27-inch 2560×1440 240Hz flat panel and similar features as the previous models.
The pricing and availability of these monitors will be announced during or after CES. For more information, visit the Source.
